Miami allowed more than 100 points for the first time in 17 games, surrendering a season high 62 points in the first half. However the Heat were able to limit the Rockets to just 41.9% shooting from the field, while connecting on 58% of their field goal attempts for the game.
The Heat improved to 9-5 against Western Conference teams, and are 14-3 when they score 100 or more points. Next up for Miami are the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, then they travel to Charlotte to face the Bobcats on Monday.
