The Real GOAT? Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Named Global Cultural Ambassador
Now if you read JerseyChaser then you already know that we been(t) rolling with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, contending that he is arguably the greatest basketball player of all times, based on lifetime achievement (on and off the court), swag and nearly defeating Bruce Lee in a head-to-head showdown in The Game of Death.
The man that legendary Coach John R. Wooden affectionately called Lewis was named a Cultural Ambassador by the State Department, chilling with Hillary Clinton and them to get a plaque and what not as the Government basically told the Hall of Famer, “We appreciate ya, now go out and spread your ‘ism(s)”
Abdul-Jabbar will be heading to Brazil as apart of his duties, to help spread some positivity and goodwill to the large contingent of underprivileged youth that inhabit the country as well as traveling around the world to show people that it’s possible.
The NBA’s all-time leading scorer and seasoned social activist that has used his celebrity to try and make the world a better place, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the definition of a champ, and since the Lakers won’t give him a statue, someone should at least put him on a stamp.
