Money Mayweather Predicts 8th-Round K.O. vs Mosley

“It’s not my fault that I’m god-gifted and they’re just talented.”

With the fight that nobody has been waiting for now less than a day away, Floyd Mayweather went over the airwaves recently to predict the outcome of his fight against Shane Mosley Saturday in Vegas (aka The city built by Losers). Mayweather has been clowning Mosley viciously leading up the bout, with Sugar Shane unable to come back with any solid retorts given his extreme punch-drunkness. Mosley struggles to make even a basic sentence coherent, but does have a slim shot to pull an upset that would all but ruin any chance for the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight that both the gamblers and squares have been waiting for.

Money Mayweather predicts an 8th-round knockout, we’ll find out in a little over 24 hours if the man knows what he is talking about.

Manny Pacquiao Calls Out Floyd Mayweather After Win

After Manny Pacquiao served up Not Floyd Mayweather Saturday in Cowboys Stadium he had a little heat aimed in Money Mayweather’s direction. During an interview after the fight Manny basically said he was ready to fight Mayweather whenever but also took a jab (no pun intended) saying that Sugar Shane Mosley was probably going to win the fight. Unfortunately Mr. Clarence wasn’t around to tell Pacquiao “you must be out yo got damn mind,” because much like this nasty fight that Pac Man decided to take after the negotiations with the Mayweather camp went South, Floyd is going to serve Mosley with a cherry on top.

With Manny maintaining his legacy with this unsurprising win, there is a little bit of pressure on Money Mayweather to produce in his fight a few months from now. Floyd should dispose of Mosley easily but with boxing nothing is guaranteed. If (and when) Floyd wins the fight, then hopefully talks can open back up and the people can get the fight that they really want to see.

As we all know, the world of sports if fueled by those that chose to talk a lot of heat, and boxing is always the prime example. As much physical as mental, boxers spend a considerable amount of time trying to play mind games and get underneath their opponent’s skin to gain any advantage that they can. When Floyd “Money” Mayweather and “Sugar” Shane Mosley headed out to NYC to promote their May 1 welterweight showdown, both men took the opportunity to try and knock the other man’s hustle before, during and after the fight.

Unfortunately Mosley looks like he is a little too punch-drunk these days and struggles to make coherent sentences, while Money Mayweather has a mouthpiece like the Southeast (see Hurricane Katrina) which is deadly. Mayweather gets the best of the verbal fisticuffs clowning Mosley’s fit, claiming it was off the rack and bragging about his own custom suits and gators. Mayweather also goes in on Sugar Shane’s ex-boo Jin, who also serves as his manager, saying that he has to pay her both manager fees and alimony. While this isn’t as funny as Floyd Sr.’s rant a while back it is definitely worth listening to.

Spotted: Mike Vick Hollers At Bernard Hopkins Fight

(Damn, Sugar Shane Mosley looks strung out)

Who knew that Mike Vick and Bernard Hopkins were knigs? The Legend, getting ready to face his former team this weekend, took some time out of his schedule to watch Bernard Hopkins defeat Enrique Ornelas by a 12-round unanimous decision in Philly Wednesday. The win was supposed to set up a fight with Roy Jones next year, but after Danny Green got up in Jones’ ass like a wedgie during their fight in Australia, the match is like a fart in the wind now.
