We love the fact that the mainstream news organizations are starting to pick up the JerseyChaser content. It’s beautiful. Here you have Diane Sawyer from Good Morning America interviewing Kesha Nichols, the broad that RIchard Jefferson left at the alter.
When RIch was trying to tell his side of the story, all he could get on was Howard Stern and a couple of local radio stations, but she gets to go on network TV with Diane Sawyer. What’s next, Erin Andrews on Oprah?

Damn! Richard Jefferson dropped $2 mill on a wedding and then called it off just a couple hours before it was about to go down. Talk about having some cold feet… And it’s not like his boo (Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols) was wack-looking, as you can see from her pics on MySpace.
She was an ex-Net dancer, so maybe he figured he could do better than her in San Antonio since the Spurs’ cheerleaders are way hotter than the Nets. Or he got nervous about having to give up half of his $14-mill-a-year contract that he has…
But on the bright side, after he broke the news to everybody, he did give his black card to one of his knigs so all of his friends could ball-out… and he let his ex-fiancee stay in the penthouse sweet at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in the NYC (the place where the wedding was supposed to go down).

We are counting the Richard Jefferson trade as part of the Draft since it happened less than 24 hours before, and when you add that to them drafting DeJuan Blair, Jack McClinton and some foreign PG from France named Nando De Colo…
All picks in the Second Round, then you are looking at the biggest come-ups of the 2009 NBA Draft. The Spurs are sitting real pretty right now.
Dudes already have one of your sicker starting fives in the league with Timmy-D, Parker, Jefferson and Ginobili. Now you add a young solid 4 who can easily replace Kurt Thomas and back up Drew Gooden, an Eddie House-type in McClintock who can light it up way better than Bowen, and a Parker French-understudy at point.
The Spurs are one of the few teams that got younger and better at the same time.

Richard Jefferson To The Spurs For 3 Scrubs…

The Spurs just came up in a major way…word is coming in that they are about to pick up Richard Jefferson from the Bucks and send them three old scrubs who are way past their prime (Bruce Bowen, Kurt Thomas, and Fabricio Oberto), in return. Not a bad trade, not bad at all.
On the surface, a 3-1 trade looks like the Bucks got shafted, but when you look at the contracts, which we always do, then you’ll see that all three of those dudes are in the last year of their contracts. All this means is that come 2010, the Bucks will be some major players in the free agent market.
