Thank Goodness De La Hoya Retired…

For a minute there our dude was giving the sport a blackeye. The last image we will have of him is him all crumpled over on the ground crying from a body shot. No Mas, no mas. And we won’t even talk about the Mayweather fight. Nor the cross-dressing pictures, which makes him legendary in the most unflattering way.

Oscar is the only none great we know to have a statue. Rocky Balboa was sicker than him and he ain’t even real. So one of the greatest, never that. We reserve that spot for Ali, Tyson, and Bernard Hopkins (yeah, Hopkins is up there).

Oscar De La Hoya Says No Mas in Pacquiao Fight

Manny Pacquiao is the real PacMan. Busting Oscars ass from the opening bell, De La Hoya threw in the towel at the end of the 8th round. Putting together combo after combo, Pacquiao proved why he is the best pound for pound boxer in the world. Oscar meanwhile left us wondering if his career is over.

He has not won a big fight in forever and has really gotten owned in his last few fights. In fact we don’t believe we will order another De La Hoya fight in our lives, all we want to see now is a Pacquiao vs Mayweather match up. We have video highlights after the jump.
