Michael Jordan Hollers At Jay Leno From Bahamas

“I just don’t understand what someone’s name on a piece of paper is going to do for you.”
So the G.O.A.T. (besides King James) did Jay Leno a solid and appeared on the show recently for the 10 questions segment via satellite in the Bahamas. Must be nice. Actually MJ is hosting a golf tournament out there with proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish and the James Jordan Foundation. Jay Leno hits on a variety of questions and Jordan gives us a glimpse of just how sick it is to be him, claiming that he has over 1,500 pair of shoes. The Legend also gets his feet and nails done every 2 weeks, which is kind of metrosensual but nothing to a boss.
Leno also asked Jordan if he ever asked for an autograph, MJ appeared to get a little salty claiming that he has never asked anyone for an autograph before in his life. Jay’s question reminded of an incident that happened not too long ago involving Jordan and rapper Chamillionaire, who claimed that MJ bigtimed him at a party His Airness was throwing after he asked for a picture. Chamillionaire claimed that Jordan almost tried to chin check him. Apparently he doesn’t like flash photography as well.

Sick Kicks: Air Jordan XI Space Jam’s Are Back

The Air Jordan XI Space Jam’s are getting re-released today, just in time for the holiday season, so if you have some cheese to burn and a desire to stay flyer than a Pelican, then go ahead and grab you a pair. Jordan is still the only dude that can give you a consistent pair of rockable shoes year after year, and he beent out of the game like midrange. The XI’s are easily my favorite pair of Jordan kicks ever, because they were worn during a very impressionable time in my life. They are still the one of the sweetest pair of shoes these eyes have ever seen and still look like they are 5 years ahead of the times. Respect.Via Sneaker News

LOL: Whoever Smelt It Dealt It

When he’s not busy talking heat to Legends like LeBron James, Bulls center Joakim Noah appears to be a pretty funny dude. During a recent interview Noah smelt something funkier than Bubbles and accused the reporter of laying a stinker. Noah spent the reminder of the interview trying to figure out who was responsible for letting one rip, but as the old saying goes, whoever smelt it dealt it. This doesn’t mean that Noah was responsible for the fart, because it some circles whoever denied it, supplied it. Via Terez Owens

In honor of the 25th anniversary of the G.O.A.T. (besides LeBron) taking the shoe game to a whole new level, Nike has come out with crunchy white versions of every pair of Jordan’s to date. Sad part is they won’t be releasing nare nadda pair to the general public, which means if you want some of these you have to be a real life ballertician, or have a connect sicker than Marlo. Holler Back: Allen Iverson Announces Retirement
Posted by BROSEFOLOPHOGUS on
November 26, 2009
TO ALL OF MY FANS:
I would like to announce my plans to retire from the National Basketball Association. I always thought that when I left the game, it would be because I couldn’t help my team the way that I was accustomed to. However, that is not the case.
I still have tremendous love for the game, the desire to play, and a whole lot left in my tank. I feel strongly that I can still compete at the highest level.
Stepping away from the game will allow me to spend quality time with my wife and kids. This is a reward that far exceeds anything that I’ve ever achieved on the basketball court. I have prayed for this day and I see it as my greatest gift.
I want to thank the people of Reebok International Ltd., for always allowing me to be me and for supporting me my whole career through all the ups and downs. I have enjoyed 13 wonderful seasons in the NBA, and I am grateful.
I want to first acknowledge my fans everywhere, who have been with me throughout my entire career. Without you, there would be no me. You should all know that I appreciate your support from the bottom of my heart. Thank you!
To Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas, Charles Barkley and Larry Bird, you guys gave me the vision to play the game that will be forever in my heart.
To my Mom, who encouraged and inspired me to play every day, and to all of my family and friends who stood by me from the beginning. Thank you!
To my high school coach, Michael Bailey, Coach John Thompson at Georgetown University, Coach Larry Brown and to all of my other coaches, teammates, administrators, owners and staff who’ve been a part of my career, Thank you as well!
I’d like to give a special thanks to the people of Memphis. I never played a home game for your beloved Grizzlies, but I want you to know how much I appreciate the opportunity given me by a great owner in Michael Heisley, and the support of the city. I wish the Memphis Grizzlies’ organization all of the success that the game has to offer.
And finally, to the city of Philadelphia: I have wonderful memories of my days in a Sixers’ uniform. To Philly fans, thank you. Your voice will always be music to my ears.
God Bless all of you,
ALLEN IVERSON

Another Reason Why Jordan Is The G.O.A.T.

When is the last time that you’ve seen 2 beezies, even ones with questionable grissues like these ladies, making out in a pair of LeBron’s or Kobe’s? What we have here is the Air Jordan XI “Space Jam Girls” poster, which is retailing for damn near $20 bucks. That is way too much cheese, and we are only willing to pay about a dollar for each point that each one of these girls gets on our scale. So by our estimates, we’re willing to pay about $11.86, including tax, based on their combined scores. Via Osneaker

Sick Kicks: Air Jordan 1 Retro High

Any time you can sell a pair of 25 year old shoes for 3 times their original price, you’re definitely a legend. Jordan’s. Take these dark obsidian patent leather Air Jordan 1 retros for example. Definitely a great gift for the holiday season. Whilst LeBron and Kobe are the heir apparents, guaranteed none of their kicks will ever top a pair of Air Like that old Tupac track, that’s just the way it is and things will never change.
