Lebron James: It Takes Tao To Tango

In the world of collegiate and professional athletics, I’ve always been a believer that athletes on a celebrity status level deserve the right to have a sense of privacy off the court.
Many athletes are able to do so to a degree, but when you’re arguably the most-worshipped athlete in the world as LeBron James is, it doesn’t tend to work that way.
In case you haven’t logged onto the internet or turned on your television, LeBron James and his entourage were accompanied by an ESPN journalist, Arash Markazi, to document a night in Vegas in the life of LeBron James. It appears as though the network’s hosting of “The Decision” was done in return for an exclusive look into his life off the court.
However, Markazi’s recap of James’ visit to Tao, a night club located inside the Venetian hotel, as well as other clubs and hotels on the Las Vegas strip, is not sugarcoated by any means. In the piece, James is referred to as a “child wrapped in a 6-foot-8, 250 pound frame.”
And from what the piece contained, I wouldn’t go so far as to refute that comparison….
Ho Down! Inside LeBron James’ Party At Tao

SINCE WE KNEW THEY WERE GOING TO BE TRIPPIN’ ON HARD LEGS (WE DON’T BELIEVE IN $100 HANDSHAKES), WE SENT LA ROSA NEGRA UNDERCOVER INTO THE NOW INFAMOUS LEBRON JAMES PARTY AT THE VENETIAN’S TAO NIGHTCLUB LAST SATURDAY. MS. NEGRA WAS MORE THAN WILLING TO CONDUCT WHAT SHE DEEMED NECESSARY SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH. THIS IS HER STORY:
The formula was easy; you take the city famous for throwing the most crackingest parties in the world, add a host that just happens to be the greatest athlete in the world, and things are bound to be poppin’. It’s not often LeBron graces us regular people with his presence, so when I got word that he would be in Vegas popping bottles all weekend, I knew this would be big.
Our room’s were booked, bags were packed and in a hot miami second we were en route from LA to V town, cuz thats how we do. Saturday night LeBron was to be at Tao inside the Venetian, I knew we should probably get there early, but as usual, my girl was lagging like a fat kid during a conditioning test. Understandable though, it takes time to get ready to see a King.
I didnt want to risk not getting in the club to shake my ass with LeBron, but alls well that ends well, because thats just what we did. The biggest obstacle of the night was by far finding our way through the masses of groupies (both male and female) that filled up the entire lobby.
Normally when it’s merely 2 above average looking chicks trying to get in where they fit in, maneuvering your way into the club is as easy as Sunday mornings. But not when the King is in town…
King James Got It Cracking In Vegas This Weekend

Whilst Team America (f@%k yeah!) was in Las Vegas the past week training for the World Championships, King James (+ his “LeBrontourage”) and an all-star cast of ballers and celebrities were busy getting it cracking at the uber-plush Venetian and Palazzo hotels. King James held back-to-back functions at the 2 nightclubs at the connected hotels, Lavo and Tao.
Even though some may see all the party that LeBron has been doing as a negative thing and may be wondering why he isn’t working on his game, rest assured that the King has been going hard on and off the court. Besides, when you’re getting paid to come kick it at 2 of the hottest nightclubs in Vegas…it’s strictly business like Tommy Davidson and Halle Berry.

Sick Track: The Game “M.I.A.” Tribute To Miami 316

Even though The Game represents for the West Coast, he decided to make this song paying homage to the Miami Heat’s new Big 3: LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. The Game is from Los Angeles and has been known to roll with the Lakers hard.
It’s always good to see Game recognizing Game, regardless of allegiances.
