Sick Shot: Kobe’s Game-Winner vs Celtics

The Lake Show needed a little skill to pull off the mild upset against the Celtics in front of the Bean town faithful, and thankfully they have the 2nd best player in the NBA right now. Kobe yet again did some work, even with the shady finger, hitting this clutch jumper in Ray Allen’s grill as time winded down to give the Lakers the one point lead and eventually victory. All signs are pointing to a Lakers-Cavs Finals, which if it happens, may be the most watched series in NBA history.

Agent Zero Is Back And Other NBA Random ‘Ish…

Glibert Arenas: So we tell you yesterday in our NBA random ‘ish segment that we were going to tell you about Gilbert Arenas coming back and they want to go ad do an entire segment on him today, go figure. But just in case you haven’t heard…it sounds as though our knig has that ‘06 28 points per game swag back.

You know the Gilbert that was busting peoples asses for game and celebrating as soon as he let it go. The Arenas that was an All-Star and a nut hair away from making the Olympic Team. Yeah that dude. PRod might be nicer than ARod. For those of you that didn’t catch the X Games this weekend, PRod won the gold in Skateboard Street with some tricks that were even making Tony Hawk say damn. That boy good, but we are sure Nike wants you to think that it’s gotta be the shoes.

The PRod III’s. Probably your freshest looking PRod’s to date. Nike really outdid themselves with this one right here… them joints for sure look sweeter than the Dunks. Plus Nike did one of the best commercials they’ve ever made for him….the “Today Was A Good Day” music video featuring Ice Cube and Kobe…Westside!

They don’t call him the Magic Man for nothing. He is the only one that could make the audience laugh in the face of a tragedy. Michael was the best. Mike was the greatest. Mike Jack was The King. He shall forever be imitated, but never ever duplicated.

And what Magic really did with this personal story was show us all how much we didn’t know Mike. Who knew the man who was the closet thing to Jesus that we’ve seen in the AD years… liked KFC? So let us not judge that which we do not know, let us celebrate that which he shared with us all…his music.

WTF…Kobe’s Speaking At The Mike Jack Memorial

The memorial starts at 10am people, and it is going to be better than the BET Awards. We hear that they have Jennifer Hudson, Mariah Carey, Lionel Richie, Usher, John Mayer, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, and others… all maybe preforming.

Now we only have confirmation on one of the performances…Mariah will be singing “I’ll Be There,” with Nick Cannon as her hype man.

And of course you can’t have a memorial without the speeches. So there to talk about how great Mike Jack was will be Berry Gordy, Jesse Jackson will probs weasel his way up there, Martin Luther King the III, Magic Johnson, and Kobe…wait a minute!

Now Magic we can understand, he’s probably been to the Neverland Ranch plenty of times, but Kobe…come on. Just because it’s at the Staples doesn’t mean you have to be in it… he don’t know Mike like that!  We’ll be bringing you updates on all the JerseyChasers in attendance so stay tuned…
