That Boy Good: Kevin Love Sets NBA Record With 52nd Consecutive Double-Double

T-Wolves All-Star forward Kevin Love is quickly becoming a household name, and showing undersized, unathletic ballers around that anything is possible with hard work and dedication.
Love etched his name into the NBA record books Wednesday, recording his 52nd straight double-double, breaking Moses Malone’s record in the process. K-Love finished with a respectable 16 points and 21 rebounds as his squad got the win to boot.
To add a little injury to accomplishment, Love was questionable to play in the game with a shady knee, but went out and produced anyway.
Before the start of the summer Love was more legendary for his burgeoning acting career, accomplishing the rare feat of appearing on HBO’s Entourage twice in one season, as opposed to his game on the court.
But after getting selected to the USA squad and winning a gold at the FIBA World Championships, and putting on a remarkably consistent performance this season, Love has given fans in Minnesota something to smile about in what most would consider a disappointing season.

Kevin Love reached legendary status Sunday, and it wasn’t for winning a gold medal along with the rest of Team USA at the FIBA World Championships in Turkey. Love actually reached legendary status for making his 2nd appearance on Entourage this season.
Love was joined by another former UCLA baller Jordan Farmar on the season finale, with both men appearing in one of the final scenes involving a scuffle with Vinny Chase, Drama and Eminem, who gets the opportunity to bing a star.
Phillies slugger Ryan Howard also made a courtesy appearance on the show, which was way too thirsty for athlete guest appearances this time around.
If you would have told me before this season started that it was going to feature cocaine, porno stars (for those that think they aren’t actors…yes they are!), a bunch of legendary sports-related cameos and was going to suck worse (not necessarily a bad thing) than Sasha Grey during her day job, I would have thought no effin’ way.
But alas it did. At least the season finale was somewhat redeeming, even though it was a little too predictable. Vince should have O.D.’d …the end.

UCLA Legend Kevin Love Makes Cameo On Entourage

T-Wolves forward and Team USA hopeful Kevin Love made a brief appearance on last night’s episode of Entourage, 2nd week in a row that the show has featured a respectable League type (easy Craig Smith) with Chris Bosh and his Boo getting some solid face time last week. It was also the 2nd week in a row that the appearance came during a questionable situation.
Love was featured as a guest of agent Scotty Lavin (Scott Caan) during a scene which involved E (that one square from that TV show with the talking stuffed animal and the chick with the huge cans) accusing Lavin of hooking Vinny Chase with some of that white girl aka Christina Aguilera.
I’m rolling with Entourage and love the guest appearances by League heads, but it seems like there is a better way to use them that doesn’t involve sex, drugs and alcohol (or some combination of the 3).
Think more Lamar Odom critiquing Drama’s calf type of stuff.
