BET Rolling With Mike Vick

When Vick got out of jail, you knew it was only a matter of time before he would end up selling the rights to his story. That time is 2010, when BET plans on releasing an 8 episode docu-series chronicling Vick’s life. Vick is pretty much broke as a joke and already playing with house money, owing creditors somewhere in the neighborhood of $20 mill, after all his cheese got snatched following his case. At this point the dude is willing to do anything to make a quick check, on top of his small potato contract with the Eagles.
The show is tentatively called The Michael Vick Project and creators say the show will stray away from the traditional athlete type series. As to be expected, animal rights groups are rearing there annoying heads and once again complaining and trying to prevent the rehabilitated Vick from moving on with his life. BET’s Director of programming, Loretha Jones had this to say about the show:
I did not reach out for this show in order to court controversy … It’s important for us to capture this important moment to see what someone does when they have the opportunity to rebuild themselves. It might serve as a road map for young men facing the same challenge.
One thing is for sure, we will definitely be watching this joint when it comes out.

Plax’s V Card In Jeopardy For Next 2 Years
Posted by BROSEFOLOPHOGUS on

Hopefully Plax doesn’t end up like Jackson Vahue.
![]()
Tis tuff for our dude Plaxico Burress. After a lengthy court battle that lasted nearly a year, he finally got sentenced to 2 years in the penn. Damn! He got more time for shooting himself than some people do for shooting someone else. Now his booty will be in constant jeopardy, as we are sure that there are several inmates just waiting for the chance to snatch his V card. Let us hope that the Sisters don’t get a hold of him.
This pretty much means his football career is over. Even though Plax has already been told by the Don Roger Goodell that he will be reinstated upon the completion of his prison term, Burress will 34 years old by then and rusty, like an old trombone.
We thought this was America people. In a country where people usually can buy their way out of legal trouble, this trend seems to be obsolete, especially for Black athletes who’ve worn corn rows at some point in their career. On the bright side, If Plax doesn’t shank anybody he could get out in 20 months.

The Jellos Jiggling In The Dirk & Cristal Taylor Case….
Posted by Kodackid on
August 24, 2009

We might be able to put a nail in this one… Today Cristal Taylor, aka Dirk Nowitzki’s baby momma, got sentenced to 5 years in jail for violating her probation multiple times. But don’t think for one second that Dirk is sad or even in court today…he’s focused on his upcoming trip to South Africa.
He’s probably over there drunk and singing off key, saying “I wish I never met her at all.” And the triv part is after all this time and drama, we still don’t know if Cristal Taylor is for sure pregnant with Dirk’s kid or even pregnant at all. So there is still one surprise in the case that still needs to be opened.
But to hold you over until we find out, here is a four page letter that Cristal Taylor wrote the judge asking for leniency.

Marcus Follows Mike to Jail…Doing 20 Days
Posted by BROSEFOLOPHOGUS on
August 21, 2009
Let’s not forget that Marcus runs a 4.2, way faster than Mike. All the potential in the world those two had and both ended up (f)ucking up. Marcus got popped for a DUI and breaking from police….he’ll get 20 days, but the funny thing is that’s only 7 days less than Stallworth for vehicular manslaughter.
They could’ve been the greatest. If someone just could’ve gotten to them earlier and mentored them, someone like a McNabb, or a Dungy…but all Marcus had was Mike to look up to, and its Mike thought he was untouchable, and so did Marcus.

Plax Gets Indicted…One Step Closer To Jail
Posted by BROSEFOLOPHOGUS on
August 3, 2009

They got our dude Plax on two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of reckless endangerment, which will get him a minimum sentence, a MINIMUM sentence of 3 1/2 years. The boy better work on not dropping the soap.
Now we done already told you that Plax is for sure going to jail for more than a year or else the DA would have accepted his plea deal…so now we just have to sit back and wait for the trial to start to see how long he’s going to be in the slammer (we bet he’s going to get at least 1 year in the pen).
The good news is that Antonio Pierce did not get indicted.

Somebody Wants To Wheez The Juice

July 25, 2009
Tis tough for O.J. Simpson, currently serving a 15-year prison sentence in Nevada for trying to get back some of his ‘ish at the Palace Station casino, the Juice is claiming that his cellmate is trying to murk him. It could be worse, his cellmate could be trying to take his V-card or attempting to shove a large blade up his anus like how they got that one dude in American Me.
According to a report in the highly-respected National Enquirer, Simpson said “He’s told me he is going to strangle me in my sleep the first chance he gets.” Seeing as the Juice has been locked up since December of last year, it’s obvious that his cellmate is doing a shitty job of doing the deed.
Either way all we hope is that the Sisters haven’t gotten to him yet.

JR Smith Going Straight To Jail…Will Not Pass Go
Posted by BROSEFOLOPHOGUS on
July 1, 2009

With all the trials and jail sentences in the NFL, we almost forgot about JR Smith and his Donte Stallworth-like case. Yesterday a judge sentenced JR to 90 days in jail for causing the car accident that killed his best friend. Word is he will only do 30 days if he spends 500 hours visiting sick children at hospitals when he gets out.
You see JR was in his hometown back in ‘07 and was showing off one of his new baller SUV’s to his friends. He was going 67 in a 35 mph zone, drove through a stop sign and hit another car. The crash was so bad that it threw him and his boy from the car…JR walked away with some scratches, his friend didn’t walk away at all.
And even though JR did something horrible and has gotten 2 speeding tickets since then, you will not see David Stern trying to suspend him indefinitely. Because unlike Goodell, Stern is a kind Don.
