Chad Ochocinco, aka Trey-Wayne when he puts on his musician hat, posted this picture of him and Cash Money Records CEO Baby Wednesday in Miami claiming that they were headed to the studio to record another track for his debut album “Child Please.” If you haven’t heard the first single “Dat Ain’t My Baby,” you can check it out here.
Ocho Cinco Performs Song At LeBron’s Party In Miami

After King James gave D-Wade and the Heat the business Monday night he decided to host a little function in Miami, and whenever The King throws an event, you know it is going to be cracking. Chad Ochocinco was in attendance and took the opportunity to hop on stage and put on a show, singing his new single “Dat Ain’t My Baby” from his debut album “Child Please.” The video description says it all:
Chad Ochocinco comes to the 400 Supper Club at Karma in South Beach and does an impromtu set with DJ LSOne and Bigg D and the Bottom Shelf Band. Lebron James hosted the event and brought out all his teammates. This is the weekly event where dinner is served, live music and performance take place and it all happens in a breath-taking venue. You never know who’ll be in the building every Sunday. For table reservations and bottle service call/text 305.5288681
Chad can’t sing sang but he is somewhat similar to Mr. Randy Watson in his ability to entertain a crowd. Guaranteed somebody in the crowd said, “that boy good!” (good and terrible). If you watch the whole video, you’ll notice Ocho Cinco giving his undying loyalty to King James as the sickest in the game, a realization that many are coming to as a result of LeBron serving the NBA’s elite including the likes Kobe and D-Wade all season.

Amazing Race: Ochocinco vs Chris Johnson

Old news but still deserves some recognition if indeed it does come to fruition. In a mission to prove that he too has “getting away from the cop speed,” Chad Ochocinco challenged NFL Offensive Player of the Year Chris Johnson aka “Every Coach’s Dream” to a race, with the loser donating their entire Pro Bowl check to the Haitian Relief effort. Classy move.
Johnson willingly obliged Ochocinco’s challenge and should enter the race as the overwhelming favorite after running the fastest 40-yd dash in the common era (4.24) at the 2008 NFL Scouting Combine. It should be noted that CJ and Ted Ginn were also suppose to race but Ginn never showed up according to Johnson. Understandable.
Ocho has no chance against CJ, but at least after the servicing, his money will be going towards a solid cause. This shouldn’t leave too terrible a taste in Ochocinco’s mouth, and I’m willing to bet that both men will end up donating the cheese to the people that really need it at this point in time.

Respect: Players Pay Tribute To Chris Henry

Sunday was a tough one for many players around the league, back in action for the first time since the death of Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry last week. Several players paid special tribute to Henry’s memory throughout the NFL, including Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall. He wears the same number as Henry and during pregame Marshall decided to wear a “Henry” nameplate, but took it off before the actually start of the game. The move will most likely equal a fine for Marshall, as players are not allowed to wear any other name besides their own at any point during the pregame or actually start of the game.
Chad Ochocinco, who was planning on wearing Henry’s #15 during the Bengals-Chargers game but later decided to just rock his standard jersey, was fined for a similar move a few years ago. Ochocinco, before actually changing his name, wore an “Ocho Cinco” nameplate during pregame and was fined by the league. Marshall’s move is under a different circumstance and since the NFLPA has already stated that they would pay any fine related to honoring Henry, this shouldn’t cost him any cheese. The reality is that he shouldn’t be fined anyway for this classy gesture.

Ocho Cinco Takes San Diegans To Denny’s & Starbucks

You know Chad Ochocinco is one of the biggest legends of all time, and a true man of the people. The dude loves videos games and twitter. Wherever he goes he reaches out to his fans, as was the case Saturday during the Bengals stay in San Diego as they prepare to face the Chargers this Sunday.
Chad, up early as usually and looking for something to grub on, tweeted to a bunch of fans to meet him at a Denny’s near the Bengals hotel in La Jolla, a San Diego suburb. More than a dozen fans showed up to have breakfast and following what was assuredly a delicious meal, the convoy headed over to Starbucks to grab a cup of Joe. As a football fan you can’t but help respect that way that Ocho Cinco is changing the game by reaching out and touching people. Even if you’re not a Bengals fan you have to roll with the dude.

Ocho Cinco will wear #15 for the matchup, in honor of teammate Chris Henry, who passed away earlier in the week. Chad was hit hard by the tragedy and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bengals used this tough time to end the Chargers December domination. The team has responded well to adverse situations this season, including the loss of defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer’s wife. The Bengals still need a win to ensure a playoff berth and are trying to rebound from a 30-10 ass whopping they took against the Vikings last week. Via Ocho Cinco’s Twitter

Tis Tough: The Chris Henry 911 Calls

Two 911 calls received by Charlotte Police
The Charlotte Police released the 911 calls made Wednesday during and immediately following the domestic dispute the eventually led to the death of Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry. After the initial ambiguity regarding the events that led to Henry falling out the back of a pickup truck, this 911 calls paint a clearer image of exactly what went down.
After getting into a verbal argument with his fiance and baby mama in which she tried to shake the spot in the couple’s pickup truck, Henry jumped in the back of the truck as she was leaving. According to the first call, a female driving behind the pickup, Henry was shirtless and banging on the window. The caller described Henry as “crazy,” and followed the F-150 for a short period of time before the car made a turn.
The female caller did not follow the vehicle because she said she was going to her husband’s work. Don’t know how often people in Charlotte see that kind of stuff go down but if I saw a black dude in a cast banging going crazy in the back of a pickup truck I would probably tail them for a little longer just to see what’s cracking.
The second caller, a male, called the Police after discovering Henry’s lifeless body laying on the side of the road as a group of people attempted to help him. At that point it is safe to say that he was already gone and even the caller thought that he might be dead. Tragic ending for a dude that was trying to change his life.

LOL: Ocho Cinco Rocks Personalized Poncho
Posted by BROSEFOLOPHOGUS on
December 15, 2009

In honor of his namesake, Ocho Cinco uploaded this photo of his personalized poncho, a stark contrast from his Week 13 version he wore on the sideline during the Bengals win over the Lions. Sadly Ocho Cinco aka Hachi Go and the Bengals got smashed by the Vikings this weekend. Chad must have had a premonition of what was going to happen. After scoring a TD early in the game, the No Fun League’s biggest critic decided not to celebrate and just ran to the sideline.
The Cats still have the AFC North on lock, with a 2 game lead with 3 games remaining. The Bengals still have the Chiefs on the schedule so they should be able to lock up the division, but stranger things have happened.
While the poncho shenanigans are pretty fun Ocho Cinco getting cracked by Cedric Griffin, wasn’t nothing nice nor sweet. Take a peek after the jump…
