“…where that book at?”

Floyd Mayweather Sr. took to the radio recently to continue bashing Manny Pacquiao. Even though most reports point the blame in the direction of Money Mayweather’s camp, Floyd Sr. has consistently defended his boy and called out Pac Man for being a buster.

Don’t know if Big Floyd is right or wrong, but the dude is a legend. When he speaks, all should listen, if for no other reason then to hear to old-school ‘ism.

Boxer Kermit Cintron Falls Out Of Ring During Fight

During a junior-middleweight fight against something like a legend Paul Williams Saturday at the Home Depot Center in Carson, this dude right here, Kermit Cintron, mysteriously fell out of the ring during the 4th round. Cintron slid through the ropes and onto a table, eventually laying semi-conscious for a few until he was carted off like a beached whale.

Williams won the fight based on a split decision, with 2 of the 3 judges rolling with him. Apparently Cintron wasn’t too “injured” following the fight and still managed to conduct interviews.

The Best Part Of The Roy Jones-Bernard Hopkins Fight

Share/Bookmark

The rematch that nobody was waiting for went off largely unnoticed Saturday night as 45-year-old Bernard Hopkins finally got revenge on 41-year-old Roy Jones Jr., in a battle of old heads. The last time these 2 met in the ring was 1993, when Roy Jones was still in his prime serving dudes mercilessly. 17 years later, both men were washed up, basically fighting for no cheese, in front of no fans. Perhaps it was some bad timing or waiting far too long to finally get the fight done, but either way both men are going out as 2 of the greatest boxers of all time.

The highlight of the fight came at the end of the 6th round, when Jones threw a questionable shot to the back of Hopkins’ dome, inciting the Executioner as both men tried to get in a few extra punches after the bell. It wasn’t much, but did provide a lasting memory if anyone ever decides to talk about this fight again. It may be chilling in the vault for a while.

Manny Pacquiao Calls Out Floyd Mayweather After Win

Share/Bookmark

After Manny Pacquiao served up Not Floyd Mayweather Saturday in Cowboys Stadium he had a little heat aimed in Money Mayweather’s direction. During an interview after the fight Manny basically said he was ready to fight Mayweather whenever but also took a jab (no pun intended) saying that Sugar Shane Mosley was probably going to win the fight. Unfortunately Mr. Clarence wasn’t around to tell Pacquiao “you must be out yo got damn mind,” because much like this nasty fight that Pac Man decided to take after the negotiations with the Mayweather camp went South, Floyd is going to serve Mosley with a cherry on top.

With Manny maintaining his legacy with this unsurprising win, there is a little bit of pressure on Money Mayweather to produce in his fight a few months from now. Floyd should dispose of Mosley easily but with boxing nothing is guaranteed. If (and when) Floyd wins the fight, then hopefully talks can open back up and the people can get the fight that they really want to see.

Usually the paparazzi are the ones giving celebrities the scoop on all the latest current events to try and get a solid bite they can slang like some weight. But in this case none other than the great Denzel Washington, chilling in the Range, had to school a tardy for the party pap about about what’s really going down in the sporting world. After the pap asks Washington his thoughts on the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, Denzel has to inform him that the fight is off. As a paparazzi you never want to get schooled by the celebrities that you are following, but sometimes it happens.

Pacquiao-Mayweather Might Be Off Over Blood Test

Share/Bookmark

Both sides are jaw-jacking and making excuses for why the most anticipated boxing match of the modern era and now it appears that the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight may not be happening. The latest shenanigans revolve around Money Mayweather’s request that Pacman submit to a drug test 2 days prior to the bout among some other questionable demands. Pacquiao’s camp maintains that the Legend is willing to take a blood test, but just not so close to fight time out of fear it will drain his energy. Pacquiao and his people are claiming that Mayweather is just afraid to fight him and is making outrageous demands to ensure that the fight doesn’t become a reality.

Mayweather’s camp is under the impression that Pacman has hope with dope and believe he is scared to take the test because it will reveal that he is on the juice like Jack Lalane. Whatever the situation may be, these dudes need to stop with all the BS and make this thing a reality. It’s hard to know who is telling the truth about what in this situation, but as is the case with any business deal, the real issue is about how much cheese each side will be broken off with for participating in the bout. This has the potential to be one of the biggest paydays in boxing history and both fighters want to make sure that they are compensated accordingly.Via World Star Hip Hop

Fight Night: High School Edition

Back in my day when we use to have kick backs the goal was to try to get at least a courtesy hojo from any of the lovely ladies in attendance. My how the times have changed. Apparently kids nowadays are more into unsanctioned boxing matches where they attempt to beat the living shit out of each other for a cheap thrill. This video features a big man versus a little man (hell yeah) and as you can probably surmise, the big dude eventually gets the victory after delivering a slew of hard hits that forces the little guy to tap out like Gregory Hines.
