Ghettooh: DaMarcus Beasley Victim Of Car Bombing

US Soccer star DaMarcus Beasley, who currently makes his cheese overseas as a member of Rangers F.C. in Glasgow, Scotland got a shady surprise Monday, when his BMW was firebombed outside of his flat. It is still unclear what motivated the attack, some have argued that it was some salty fans taking the Rangers-Celtic rivalry a little too far, while others believe that this was a personal attack on Beasley, who definitely sticks out like my meat, as a black man in Scotland (almost rhymed)

What is clear is that on Monday night a dude in a hooded sweatshirt placed some type of bomb underneath Beasley’s car, poured gasoline around it and proceeded to light a fire, setting the car ablaze. The suspect then hopped into an Audi A3 with phony plates and bounced from the scene as Beasley’s car erupted in flames. Beasley came outside to find his whip burning like the Hot Boys circa 1999.

Even though Beasley was a little shaken by the attack, he is more confused than anything as to why he was targeted. “I don’t know how to take it, really. It’s pretty crazy. If it is a Celtic-Rangers thing then it’s obviously not good. It has shocked me - you don’t expect to be targeted like this. But I’m not going to be too upset by it.” Via Daily Record
