NBA hall of famer and former teammate of the current G.O.A.T. (based on rings, marketing, promotion and the average square ignorance towards Kareem Abul-Jabbar) Scottie Pippen dropped a bombshell on the world this morning.
During an appearance on ESPN’s Mike & Mike in the Morning radio show, Pippen let it be known that he thinks LeBron James has surpassed Jordan as the greatest of all times, based on individual skill and obviously not team accomplishment.
Naturally, the LeBraters were quick to jump on Pippen for his assertion, quickly claiming that he is just salty at Jordan for hogging up all the shine back in the day.
Despite this typical LeBraterade, let us all keep in mind that Pippen is in the Top 50, has 6 rings, and was one of the sickest point-forwards to ever play the game.
and got the opportunity to sit courtside for the entire Eastern Conference Finals, witnessing (see what I did there?) firsthand how dominant LeBron is on the court.
After feeling some heat, Pippen took to twitter to clarify his remarks, claiming that LeBron could eclipse Jordan someday. Don’t worry Scottie, we understand how you feel broheim.
