Sick Dunk: Austin Rivers Pays Tribute To The Doc In 2011 McDonald’s All-American Dunk Contest

Share/Bookmark

Austin Rivers did the damn thing during the 2011 McDonald’s All-American dunk contest, giving Duke fans a woody like Toy Story, with his incredible athleticism.

Rivers also decided to pay a little tribute to his Dad, former Hawks star and current Celtics head coach Doc Rivers, who knew a thing or two about dunking out during his days balling in the League.

Rivers lost the competition to Oklahoma State bound LeBryan Nash, but it’s safe to say that the McDonald’s dunk contest was on par or even better than the NBA’s this year. At least the future looks bright.
