SHOCKER: Yahoo! Sports Confirms Our Report On Carmelo’s Interest In Bulls

Respected NBA columnist Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports is reporting that Nugget star Carmelo Anthony hopes to persuade the Nuggets to trade him to the Chicago Bulls or the New York Knicks. So apparently Carmelo IS interested in playing for the Bulls, hmmmm.

Speculation swirled around Anthony’s desires all summer, with several outlets reporting the Clippers and Nets as possible destinations. Today Spears confirmed our report from last week, and although we are not big practitioners of tooting our own horn, we would like to offer the proverbial “we told you so” to all of the doubters (mainly Chicag0-based…oh and p.s., there should be an “e” in “crudeness” fellas) that tried to clown The Chaser for trying to kick some knowledge.

Silly rabbits, drinking all that cherry-flavored haterade will do nothing but give you cramps.

Last week, our sources told us that Anthony is not driven by the desire to be close to “Hollywood,” but rather to compete for an NBA championship right away. With all the pieces that the Bulls have assembled this offseason, the addition of  ’Melo would make them a serious threat to contend with the likes of the Heat, Magic and Celtics.
