LeBron Stunts on Ohio State Fans and Turns Boos into Cheers
Before embarking on his quest for a 3-peat (in NBA Championships, NBA Finals MVPs, and NBA MVPs) LeBron James decided to take his talents to Columbus, Ohio for the weekend to hang out with Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes football team.
LeBron joined Meyer and the squad at St. John Arena 2 hours before the game for a pep rally called the “Skull Session” (some of may know alternative meanings for this one), where he was introduced with a mix of applause and saltiness– showing the lingering bitterness that some Ohioans still have over LeBron making his next move his best one in Miami.
Despite the tension in the arena, LeBron turned the boos into cheers (kind of like how Jesus turned water in wine), telling the crowd that The Ohio State University would have been the school he would have picked if forced to go to college for a season.
LeBron was suppose to give a pep talk to the team in the locker room prior to the game, but the powers that be decided it would be a better idea to let LeBron give a pep talk to Buckeye Nation as well in an attempt to get the minds open and hearts ready.
