LeBron James Back In Akron For Bike-A-Thon
The King was back in his hometown of Akron Saturday, putting on his annual Bike-a-Thon, which raises money for local area charities. It was LeBron’s first public appearance back in Ohio since he decided to make his next move his best one and take his talents to South Beach.
Unlike the endless amounts of hateration that has been flowing from Cleveland since LeBron’s departure, including the burning of King James’ Cavs jersey and public ridicule over that whole Delonte West thing, Akron has and always will support their hometown hero.
LeBron took a little time to address all those that came out to support the event, once again thanking the people of Akron for having his back no matter what. LeBron also gave a shout out to Cleveland and thanked the city for 7 great years.
Now that’s classy. Not bad for 25 year old kid. More video from LeBron James’ Bike-a-Thon after the jump…
