Ken Griffey Jr. Hits Walk-Off Grand Slam Vs Reds

Share/Bookmark

At 40 years old Ken Griffey Jr. is still a beast, as evidenced by this walk-off grand slam against his former team during a spring league game last week. With the Mariners down 5-2, The Kid stepped to the plate and brought back that feeling that has followed him for the majority of his career, minus a few injury-plagued seasons. Although most believe that this will be Griffey’s last season in the majors, that doesn’t mean that he can’t go out with a bang, even if it’s just a small one. Hopefully the Mariners can do work this season and help The Kid go out on top, or at least a winner.
