Mayweather Manziel Bet

After getting all up in Canelo Alvarez’s cheeks like a wedgie last weekend, legendary boxer Floyd “Money” Mayweather continued to show that skill is better than luck — posting a betting slip this weekend in which he won 200 racks betting on Johnny Manziel and Texas A&M.

The Mayweather-Canelo PPV draw is expected to break more records than Ike Turner on a binder in the studio, so Money Mayweather bet some Prince Akeem pocket change on Johnny Football in the 1st half against SMU, and took the opportunity to take a shot at the NCAA, posting a photo of his betting slip with a tweet directed to Manziel:

Congratulations @JManziel2 for putting on a fantastic show. He may not be able to make money off himself but I can.

Mayweather is a notorious gambler, and often uses social media to boast about his big wins, but make no mistake, Mayweather has also gotten broken for some big cheese in his day as well.

No word if Manziel will petition Mayweather to let him hold some of that bread once his “amateur” career is finished.

  1. do some real reporting floyd puts out this fake stuff all the time. if you investigate this it is likely false, then he rarely confirms his losing bets.

  2. What is false about it? and we have a link in the article in which he confirms losing a big bet
