The Clippers closed out their Grammy road tour in grand fashion on Monday night, with center DeAndre Jordan providing one of the more legendary moments of the game, going all net with an alley-oop attempt that appeared to be a ridiculous dunk in real time.
Clippers play-by-play man Ralph Lawler went absolutely ham during the live call of the play, as it appeared that Jordan had just caught a no-look alley oop dime from Chris Paul and finished with authority.
Lawler’s partner Mike Smith was well aware of what actually went down, as replays showed that Jordan was nowhere near the rim and instead just threw the ball hard at the net in frustration following a foul call.
