Holler Back: Frank Thomas Is Out Like Trout

We at the Chaser grew up Ken Griffey Jr. fans. Back in our heyday, you either rolled with Junior or Frank Thomas. The two were #1 and #2 on the Beckett Monthly’s Hot List for years. The Big Hurt was our archnemisis. But for some reason we weren’t rolling because Thomas was always way too diesel and looked like he was on the juice like Jack Lalane.
Regardless of who you liked back in the day, much respect is due to Big Frank as he has decided to hang them up. With over 500 dingers in his career, Thomas will be a Hall-of-Famer for sho… but he’ll always be just a Kobe to Ken Griffey’s LeBron.
