Former youth hockey coach Martin Tremblay will be spending a little over 2 weeks in the house, after getting sentenced to 15 days in jail for tripping a few 13 year old members of an opposing team during the customary postgame handshake line.

The incident occurred around 7 months ago when a video surfaced of Tremblay, who looks something like Gordon Bombay’s uncle, was spotted blatantly and maliciously tripping 2 of the bigger players and then tried to play it off.

One of the players tripped in the incident ended up suffering a broken wrist though, and Tremblay was arrested and charged with 2 counts of assault.

Tremblay won’t be spending 15 consecutive days in jail though, as he can served out his sentence on ¬†intermittent weekends¬† in addition to 12 months probation.
