It’s time to break character for a second and ask for your help. Former UCLA baller and current 20th Century Fox executive Gavin Smith is missing and hasn’t been seen since Tuesday.

Gavin Smith, a distribution executive for 20th Century Fox, has been missing since Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Smith was last seen Tuesday at his Oak Park home in the 500 block of Callwood Court between 9-10 p.m., according to the sheriff’s department. He left in a black 2000 Mercedes 420E and hasn’t been heard from since.
Smith, 57, is described by the sheriff’s department as being 6 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 210 pounds. He has a goatee, gray hair with blonde highlights and green eyes. He has a 5-inch scar on his calf and a 4-inch scar on his inner right wrist. Officials said he was last seen wearing purple pants and black and gray shoes.

Smith, a member of John Wooden’s last national championship squad at UCLA in 1975, has been working at 20th Century Fox’s distribution department for nearly 18 years.
Smith is also the man standing to the left of John Wooden (camera right) in the iconic photo of the Coach with most of his former players taken at the court dedication back in 2003.
