Drew Gooden Cracks Up at College Teammate Kirk Hinrich Tricking Free Throw in OT
Drew Gooden provided one of the lasting memories from Game 2 of the Wizards-Bulls Eastern Conference playoff, as his former Kansas teammate Kirk Hinrich tricked off the front end of potential game-tying free throws in OT, to give the Wizards a staggering 2-0 lead in the series heading back to the DMV.
Hinrich attempted to show that he had some heart early in the game, trying to punk Wizards guard Bradley Beal by instigating a scuffle, in which arms were flailed and curse words exchange, and the Bulls crowd seemed briefly interested in the game.
But Hinrich proved to punk out in the game’s most crucial moment, and Gooden proved that there was no loved lost as he proceeded to jajaja in the aftermath.
Like my Daddy always say, “Tough Tidday.”
