Derozan Serves In Slam Dunk Contest Dunk-In

During halftime of the Rookie-Sophomore game Friday, Clippers guard Eric Gordon and Raptors guard Demar Derozan competed head-to-head for the chance to snatch the 4th and final spot in Saturday’s dunk contest. Even though Derozan didn’t play in the first half of the game and was probably stiffer than my meat post-spankwiring, he came out and quickly made both of his dunk attempts to win the fan vote with nearly 61% of the public rolling with him. Gordon may have had the nicer dunks overall, but took waaaaaay too long to succesfully complete them, which definitely hurt his chances.

Eric Gordon definitely brought something to the table in this competition, but Demar Derozan is taller and has way more boost, so he should make a little noise during the real event. Nate Robinson may be the favorite, but the rest of the dudes in the contest should be able to bring a little bit of heat to the Dunk Contest.
