Respect: Colts Players Shave Heads in Support For Chuck Pagano
In a show of solidarity and support of head coach Chuck Pagano as he gets ready to undergo his 2nd round of chemotherapy for Leukemia, more than 30 Colts players — including rookie quarterback Andrew, shaved their heads on Tuesday following practice.
Punter Pat McAfee and defensive end Corey Redding, who was with Pagano in Baltimore and offered a spot with the Colts during the offseason, were the first players to let a barber have at their wigs and get to chopping.
Colts players that shaved their heads and interim head coach Bruce Arians posed for a team photo in the Colts practice facility.
If you take a close look at the Chuckstrong team photo you may notice that Sergio Brown (#38) posed for the pic despite a full head of dreadlocks. Instead of shaving his head, Brown decided to die his hair orange, the color designated for leukemia awareness.
