56 Year Old Marques Johnson Gets First Dunk in New Pauley Pavilion

Share/Bookmark

After getting his Blake Griffin on and dunking over a car last year (in addition to setting a Hood Guinness World Record with 6 straight dunks at age 55), Marques Johnson decided to kick it up a notch to celebrate his 56th Birthday dunk.

The UCLA Hall of Famer and inaugural Wooden Award winner made a trip back to his alma mater to sneak into New Pauley Pavilion, to get the first dunk in the renovated hallow hall of basketball.

Although Marques is beginning to show some extreme boostie decline, he also showed that he still has a little left in the tank, continuing to defy age — and gravity, to remain a proverbial dunking fool.
