Happy 24th BDay LeBron!

Even though ‘Bron lost to the Heat on his bday, he didn’t let it ruin his celebration. I mean, he was in Miami – a way better place to celebrate a bday than Cleveland. So what did he do…round up some celebrities, get a few high end cars, buy out a bar or two, and watch the girls admire him – the greatest 24 year old basketball player of all time.
What is up with those glasses though? They must be expensive because they sure are ugly. Will 2009 be the year of the nerd….
Below we have video and some JerseyChaser spottings from the event…

Kobe and Mike Epps Nike Commercial…LOL

December 29, 2008
This has to be one of the funniest and most star studded sports commercials of the year, the other the Guitar Hero spot also starred Kobe. Along with Kobe and his new show this one has funny man Mike Epps and DJ AM wearing the fabled Air Yeezy’s. I guess all the brands have finally decided to let bygones be bygones, as far as the rape case is concerned.

Ricky Davis Was Puffing and Passing

Looks like Ricky Davis could not stay away from Cali’s best crop and we are not talking strawberries. He was just suspended for 5 games for violating terms of the NBA’s drug program. Which means he was most likely smoking the sweet chiba a little too close to drug testing time. Having been sidelined with a knee injury can you blame him for wanting to use the unconventional anti inflammatory medication…

Not So Sweet…Alabama’s Andre Smith Suspended
Posted by BROSEFOLOPHOGUS on
December 29, 2008
Alabama ManChild Andre Smith has been suspended, for Friday’s matchup against Utah. Tis Tuff. The school is only saying that it is because he “violated team rules” which either means one of two things…he messed up in school or he failed a drug test. Seeing how most colleges have been on break for awhile and he was just suspended today, we would assume it is because of class.
This is most likely his last memory of college football because he is smart he will bounce to the league now, while he is still projected as the #2 prospect. How can you not when you a 6-foot-5, 340 pound monster and being compared to OLine legend, Orlando Pace.
Saban’s thoughts on his suspension below..

Tis The Season To Be Fired
Posted by John Krease on
December 29, 2008
The season just ended yesterday and already three coaches have been, canned like some corn. We want to say see you at the crossroads to the Dtown’s Rod Marinelli, the Cleveland Browns Romeo Crennel and Eric Mangini of the Jets.
One of these coaches was trying to teach an old dog new tricks, another was trying to go down in history, while the last was just working with the scraps he was given.
Rod Marinelli…0-16. Bottom line you will never coach in the league again. You almost loose all credibility as a coach even amongst flag football players. You will be lucky if you get a head coaching job for the Lingerie Bowl.

In The Face: Almost Classic

Starring Dahntay Jones as Vince Carter and Tim Thomas as Frédéric Weis
‘
Dunk Score: 9
This was inches away from being comparable to the greatest In The Face of all time, the VInce Carter dunk in the Olympics. Even though that one was over a 7′2 dude, Dahntay Jones is only 6′6, while Tim Thomas 6′10…so legendary it is.
This dunk got us to thinking of the other near carters that have happened in the past, video below….

The Eagles smoked the Cowboys like they were Cheek and Chong, 44-6. The Eagles owner got so excited he slapped his wife, literally. Next time she should have her Hi5 up and ready.
Below we have the other most legendary videos from todays NFL action.
